The Daily Wage Employeess who were isolated from work, held a protest at the office of Udhanti Sitanadi Deputy Director’s Office on Saturday.
Notably, most of them who are working over a decade were not paid salary of last six months.
Besides the protests, members of the Daily Wage Employees Association took out rallies in various parts of the district. The list of the demands included resuming the work of 150 workers and giving away the pending salaries. A memorandum regarding the demands was handed over to the Deputy Director by the workers.
