Chief Secretary Ajay Singh on Thursday chaired a joint meeting of National Health Mission and State Health Society at the Mantralaya here.
The meeting discussed on the annual action plan for health missions for 2018-19.
The meeting also discussed the issue of filling up posts of physicians in tribal dominated pockets of the State.
The issues of further bringing down child and maternal mortality rates, prevention of female foeticide and generating awareness about leprosy, Diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure were also discussed.
