nChhattisgarh is going to conduct a state-wide Covid vaccine mock drill on January 7 and 8, it was announced on Tuesday.
The drive will take place in 21 districts, a press release said, adding it has already been held in seven districts.
Director National Health Mission Dr Priyanka Shukla has directed district Chief Medical Health Officers (CMHO) to make necessary arrangements.
The rill will be held in one urban and one rural centres each. Covin link will be used during the drill and appropriate Covid conduct will be monitored.
By January 6, all necessary preparations like selection of place, patients, receiving mock Covid vaccines, sending vaccines to cold chain points, preparation of session in the app and appointment of invigilator at the vaccination centre will be completed.
On January 7 and 8, the drill will be conducted from 10 am till 2 pm. After 5 pm the district task force will review the entire process. Its report will be sent on January 9.
The districts where the drill will take place on January 7 are Balrampur, Bijapur, Dantewada, Jashpur, Kanker, Kondagaon, Korea, Narayanpur, Sukma and Surajpur.
The next day it will be held in Balod, Baloda Bazar, Bemetara, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Janjgir Champa, Kawardha, Korba, Mahasamund, Mungeli and Raigarh.
