Congress at any level is not opposed to the screening of film ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ based on former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, a party leader claimed on Saturday.
Rs Rs It is the Bharatiya Janata Party which is making unwarranted rant on the issue’’, states Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee chief spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla in a statement.
He claimed that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has clearly stated that there will be no restrictions imposed for screening of the film in the state.
Shukla further added, “Congress follows the principles of tolerance and respects the freedom of expression. Intolerance and fascism are the character of the Bharatiya Janata Party’’.
