The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Raipur district president, Sanjunarayan Thakur, on Thursday said that the Congress is without any poll issues which is making its Raipur lok Sabha candidate Satyanarayan Sharma give baseless statements.
The BJYM, the youth wing of the BJP, had been playing a key role in helping the party pace up its poll campaigns across Chhattisgarh with a sizeable worker base across the State.
“’On the other hand, sitting BJP MP Ramesh Bais during his tenure could get AIIMS, IIM, Hidayatullah law University and NIT established in Raipur besides Raipur railway station getting declared as a ‘model station,” he said while addressing a meeting of the workers of Birgaon and Purani Basti wings here.
Thakur said that every BJYM worker is being assigned work at the booth level to campaign for the party’s lok Sabha candidate in Raipur.
He said that the youth wing workers would visit every home in the city while telling the people about the failures of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.
Thakur said that the issues being taken up regarding failures of the UPA government are corruption, price rise, poor financial health, weak security policy, unemployment and negligence in implementing welfare schemes.
