The Congress on Friday said the comparison of the book, Modi@20, with Bhagawat Gita was an insult to Hindu religion.
PCC chief Mohan Markam said if the book was so effective, then what compelled Union Home Minister Amit Shah to visit various parts of the country to publicize it.
The book is being forced on book sellers at railway stations and airports besides libraries, Markam said.
It was more annoying that Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had compared the book with the Bhagawat Gita. The BJP must clarify if it agrees with Shekhawat.
