The Congress in Chhattisgarh on Sunday asked its activists to prepare for the 2023 Assembly and 2024 Lok Sabha elections
A meeting of the party was held here in the presence of AICC Chhattisgarh in charge P.L. Punia and under the Chairmanship of PCC chief Mohan Markam.
AICC Secretaries Chandan Yadav and Saptagiri Ulka attended the meeting along with PCC office bearers and others. The meeting stressed the need to highlight the state government’s schemes for the common man. “In a bid to charge-up everyone including at the booth level, a revamp in the body is desperately needed,” underlined Punia. Talking to the media, Markam denied any problem in coordination between the party and the government. He denied there were resentments after appointments were made in the boards and corporations.
