Congress sponsored demonstrations and rallies headed by Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) President Bhupesh Baghel were held in different parts of the State on Friday against alleged Antagarh by-poll ‘fixing’.
At some places the audio tapes purportedly having recordings of ‘horse-trading’ were also played.
Meanwhile, former State Chief Minister Ajit Jogi’s supporters also played a musical parody based on popular number ‘Kolaveri di’ mocking the audio tape which was the basis for Marwahi MlA Amit Jogi’s expulsion from Congress party for six years. The audio tape was also circulated in social media.
CGPCC Chief Bhupesh Baghel started the protest from Kumhari and later reached Raipur. He also took part in demonstrations at Arang and Basna. leader of Congress legislature Party (ClP) TS Singhdeo took part in the protest at Ambikapur.
