To chalk out strategy for the upcoming Assembly polls, a crucial meeting of Poll Management Committee of the State unit of Congress party was held here at Congress Bhawan on Friday.
The meeting was held under chairmanship of former leader of Opposition, Ravindra Chaubey.
The meeting discussed in detail and prepared work plans for Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste and Urban assembly areas separately. The meeting also distributed the works to various Morchas and Cells. They were assigned different tasks and monitoring system to ascertain victory in the Assembly polls slated to be held later this year.
The meeting also earmarked and decided the works for the senior leaders of the organisation along with preparing work plan of time-bound programmes to be held later on.
National President of Other Backward Class Wing of the organisation and former Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, former Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Dhanendra Sahu, former Minister Mohammed Akbar, former Minister Satyanarayan Sharma, former Member of Parliament, Karuna Shukla were present in the meeting.
