The Congress in Chhattisgarh on Friday passed a resolution declaring solidarity with the new party President Mallikarjun Kharge.
A meeting of the Congress Political Affairs Committee also hailed former Congress President Sonia Gandhi for serving the party for so long.
The meeting later discussed in detail steps taken to maintain organizational strength and on the strategy for the 2023 assembly polls and the 2024 general elections.
AIIC Chhattisgarh in-charge P.L. Punia, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo and PCC chief Mohan Markam were present in the meeting.
