Cong demands Narco test of police officials

PNS

The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee (CGPCC) once again blamed the State Government for poor policing and lacks of security arrangements resulting in the Maoist attack on Congress party convoy at Jeeram Valley in Bastar on May 25 last year.

“The State Government and IGP Bastar Range, SRP Kalluri have accepted the incident as an outcome of poor policing and lack of security arrangements” claimed CGPCC spokesperson, Shailesh Nitin Trivedi adding “thus, it has become quite necessary to conduct Narco test of the senior police officials, who were assigned the responsibility of providing required security to the Congress leaders”. Trivedi, in a press statement issued here on Tuesday, reasoned that the test will reveal the ‘exact reasons’ behind the police officials failing in their task.
