A team of Common Review Mission of rural development ministry is on a week-long visit to Chhattisgarh for reviewing the implementation and progress of central schemes.
Panchayat and rural development department officials at secretariat briefed the team on the innovations, achievements and problems faced at ground level. The central team forwarded suggestions for better coordination based on requirement of the state.
The team will be visiting rural areas of Raipur, Korba and Bastar district for on the spot inspection of implementation. The team members are Rajkumar Dutta, Dr Sukhvinder Singh Johal and Dr Rubina Nusarat. They will be in state till November 11.
Principal Secretary Panchayat and Rural development Subrat Sahoo and other departmental officers briefed them on implementation of different schemes.
