'COMMON MAN WANTS TO GET RID OF CORRUPT GOVT'

PNS

At a public meeting held at Jashpur, CGPCC president Nand Kumar Patel said that the common man wanted to throw away the corrupt BJP government from power. In the last election the people favoured the BJP, but in spite of working for the development of the area, it had exploited the people. He said that the BJP government had come to power because of the poor tribal people of the area, but the Dr Raman government had played with the sentiments of the people and the dilapidated roads of this region was the proof of it.

He said that after coming into power the Congress would construct the roads and railway line of this tribal region. He said that despite having abundance of forest and mining resources, the district has been still longing for industry. MlA Rampurkar Singh said that the district was a living example of bad governance. Though all the three assembly seats are with the BJP, but none takes care of the people of the region. If the people of the district would make the Congress victorious in all the three seats, the party would relieve them from the bad governance, he assured. Before the public meeting, PCC president Nand Kumar Patel and MlA TS Singhdeo reached the Jashpur palace and paid tribute to the Maharani.
