A cleanliness drive was executed in Gariaband district hospital, led by District Collector Shyam Dhawade. The Collector, along with other officials of district administration, police cops and local citizens, actively participated in the drive. They cleaned weeds from the District Hospital premises.
Teams were formed and the work of cleanliness was distributed among the volunteers to clean every nook and corner of the hospital. Trimming of fruit-bearing trees inside the hospital premises was also done.
Speaking on the occasion the Collector opined that hospital was an important place where cleanliness is must.
He also instructed the sanitary workers posted in the hospital to do their job with honesty. The collector later thanked all the persons who contributed in the drive.
The officials of district administration include Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Vinit Nandanwar, President of Municipal Council, Mileshwari Sahu, Superintendent of Police M.R. Ahire, Additional Collector K.K. Behar, Civil Surgeon N.K. Yadu, Chief Medical Officer, and J.B.S. Chauhan were prominently present.
