Collector Reena Babasaheb Kangale on Wednesday presided over the training program of returning and assistant returning officers to prepare them for urban body elections at the Collectorate here.
On the occasion, the Collector directed the officials to ensure proper follow up of the rules of the State Election Vommission after the implementation of model code of conduct for the forthcoming urban body election.
The Chief Master Trainer M M Joshi trained the officers with publication of information, publication of status of reservation, updation of nomination register, submission of nomination forms, record of withdrawal of nomination, maintenance of various registers related to election, record of final list of nomination, inspection of EVM machines and its commissioning, sealing of EVM, election expenses and monitoring and others works being done during the election.
