District Collector Shyam Dhawde made a surprise inspection of District Hospital the other day here.
The Collector was apprised by the hospital administration that the hospital lacks CBC Machine.
Dhawde assured of making efforts at personal level for getting a machine approved for the hospital.
During the inspection he was dissatisfied over cleanliness in the hospital and gave concerned officials necessary instructions.
He visited all the wards of the hospital and instructed to maintain cleanliness there.
During visit to wards, Dhawde also enquired about health of patients Gulabi Bai, a resident of village Nagabuda and Gita Bai from Kosambuda. The patients at the ward told him that they were satisfied with the treatment they were given and that they were feeling well.
Civil Surgeon Dr M.S. Thakur also demanded construction of boundary wall around the hospital and to meet the requirement of additional ambulances.
