Newly-appointed District Collector Shruti Singh carried out sudden inspection of under construction District Composite Building on Thursday.
She directed the officials of Public Works Department (PWD) to get completed the construction works soon.
Executive Engineer (EE) HR Dhruv informed that the building will house offices of 27 different departments. The office of District Superintendent of Police (SP) will also function from same building.
The Collector directed to get the building completed by October and also asked for progress report of construction work on weekly basis. She also instructed to carry out sapling plantation in the Collectorate compound.
later on, she also carried out inspection of under-construction Gaurav Path and Stadium.
The Chief Municipal Officer informed that the Gaurav Path will be 16 meters wide and one kms long. The Collector also inquired about various other development works going on in the district headquarters.
