A review meeting of rice millers for custom milling of paddy was held under the chairmanship of Collector Mukesh Bansal at the District Collectorate Hall here.
During the meeting, the Collector ordered the rice millers for lifting of paddy from all seven paddy procurement centers by April 2017 besides carrying out loading work of paddy on holidays too.
The Collector also gathered information related to pending payment of custom milling with District Marketing Officer (DMO).
Bansal directed the DMO to release pending payments at the earliest.
During the meeting, Bansal also reviewed the deposit of rice with Civil Supplies Corporation and Food Corporation of India respectively.
Here, DMO informed the Collector that the target of lifting 4000 metric tonnes of paddy from all seven paddy procurement centers have been given to the millers.
