Chief Minister Raman Singh’s wife, Veena Singh, on Friday participated in different programmes organised here in the home constituency of her husband for the fourth day in a row.
Raman has yet to launch a formal campaign for the upcoming election in his constituency, but his wife visited several Puja pandal, offered prayers to the Goddess and met devotees. She also visited several villages including Surgi, farhad, Kokrel and litia. She discussed with the people in their village Kokrel until midnight. She has already visited more than 30 villages in the region in last three days, they said.
During last election held in late 2008, she had done hard works to ensure the victory of his husband. Her participation this time in different programmes ahead of the elections has been viewed as an effort to ensure victory of her husband again this time.
