Dr Kumbhkar said that although there is no specific drug or vaccine for treatment of dengue, people can take paracetamol tablets to bring down the fever and immediately consult a doctor. Platelets are required for treatment in some patients and the platelet level fluctuates in patient of Haemorrhagic fever which is dangerous and deadly.
