Chief Minister Raman Singh will inaugurate a ‘Housing Fair’ to be organised by Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CHB) here on Saturday.
Singh will depart from Raipur at 11.55 am by a helicopter and reach Rajnandgaon around noon at about 12.25 pm where he will inaugurate the fair to be held in the premises of the Government run-Kamala Devi College.
The Chief Minister would also visit a fair organised by the district administration in association with Social Welfare Department, ONGC and Artificial limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India, Jabalpur.
On the occasion, he will gift artificial limbs and rehabilitation equipments to 956 physically challenged people of the district.
While he will gift 158 people artificial limbs including hand, leg, and Callipers, 216 people would be presented with tricycle, wheel chairs to 72 people, Baisakhi to 321 people. Besides he will gift sticks to 51 people, Rollators to 17, MR kits to 7, hearing aids to 291, blind sticks to 183 and braille slates to 183 beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister would also present cheques to the beneficiaries of inter caste and dowry less marriages.
