Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will distribute education incentives online to talented children of Tendupatta collectors in a virtual programme to be held on November 19 at his residence-cum-office.
Baghel will transfer `8.53 crore into the bank accounts of 4,000 meritorious students under the Education Promotion Scheme and the Meritorious Students Incentive Scheme run by the Forest Department.
Under the first scheme, `8.4 crore will be transferred to the accounts of the talented children who have secured 75 percent or more marks in Class 10 and 12 examinations in the academic year 2019-20.
Under this scheme, `15,000 is provided to the students who have passed Class 10 and `25,000 to those who have passed Class 12.
Similarly, under the incentive scheme, `75 lakh will be transferred to the students' accounts for academic year 2019-20.
