nChhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday released a ‘Ram Van Gaman Paryatan Paripath’ handbook compiled by the Surguja district administration.
Visiting the stalls set up on the inauguration of the Mainpat Festival, Baghel stopped at the stall of the Paripath after seeing beautiful impersonators of Lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman.
He performed 'aarti' for Lord Rama and sought blessings for the state.
He said that Lord Rama spent most time in Chhattisgarh during his exile. "Lord Rama is our nephew as Chhattisgarh is his maternal home."
