Chief Minister Raman Singh on Monday greeted the citizens on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of founder of Ayurveda, Bhagwan Dhanwantri to be celebrated on Tuesday.
In his message on the eve of Dhanteras, Singh mentioned that knowledge of Ayurveda is precious life-saving gift of India to the global medical field. He is considered as 'God of Health'.
Singh said that Bhagwan Dhanwantri laid stress on the daily diet and thought process for a healthy life.
The Chief Minister said that State Government had constituted 'Dhanwantri Samman' to felicitate Ayurveda doctors, teachers and outstanding contributors in Ayurveda.
Singh sought the blessings of Bhagwan Dhanwantri for sound health of the citizens of the State.
