Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel raised concern over the recent atrocities against women and the gang rape in the state, and condemned the incidents.
He said the police will ensure that the accused are arrested. No one will be spared at any cost, he said while interacting with media persons before leaving for Korba on Tuesday.
He added law will take its own course and that the police are investigating the case.
On civic bodies’ election, Baghel said that after holding discussions and taking feedbacks, the names of candidates will be finalised. He said finally after discussion with party senior leaders the list will be released.
On the PDS scam and Antagarh bypoll tape scam, Baghel said the investigation is on within the framework of law. What those people who ruled the state for 15 years had done should be exposed. He said to prevent the PDS scam probe they (BJP leaders) brought renowned lawyers through chartered plane. Another PIL has been filed to stop the probe, he added.
In PDS scam, former Chief Minister Raman Singh should reveal who are the “CM Sir” and “CM Madam” being referred in the diary seized during the probe, Baghel said.
