Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel made several important announcements on Friday, which is also his birthday.
A delegation of people belonging to extremely backward tribes called on Chief Minister at his residence to greet him on his birthday.
After having discussion with the delegation, Chief Minister announced formation of six agencies for especially backward tribes. He also announced that at all the levels of panchayats, a representative of especially backward tribe will be nominated and community halls for them will also be sanctioned.
Chief Minister also advised members of the delegations to get their ration cards issued.
Baghel had warm interaction with the delegation, official sources said. He also played with a kid that had come with his parents who were part of the delegation.
State head Baiga Community Itwari Ram Machhiya Baiga thanked Chief Minister for government order of recruiting educated youth from the community as assistant teacher grade-III.
On his birthday, people of Baiga, Kamaar and Pahadi Korva tribes from Kawardha, Bilaspur and Koriya districts visited Chief Minister in Raipur and greeted him.
