The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organised a session titled ‘MSME Financing : Empowering MSMEs Through Addressing Their Financing Needs’ here on Wednesday.
Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation ltd (CSIDC), Sunil Mishra inaugurated the session by releasing its brochure, a CII press release informed.
Notably, the 'CII SME Finance Facilitation Centre' (CII FFC) would provide advisory and credit facilitation support to SMEs.
In his address, Mishra said that CII-FFC is a very meaningful and effective initiative .
He said that the timely and adequate financial support is the need of the hour for SME’s and proper capital management training is a must for these industries which avail loans.
Mishra urged the industries to have a good control on proper handling of capital management.
He also mentioned various initiatives Chhattisgarh Government has taken to promote the MSMEs in various development blocks of the State.
Ramesh Agrawal, Vice Chairman, CII Chhattisgarh State Council, said with “Building National Competitiveness” being the theme of CII this year, the focus is on creating and sustaining an environment conducive to the growth of Industry , partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes. Amit Tripathi, Deputy Director, CII briefed the participants about CII Finance Facilitation Centre which works towards creating awareness amongst the SME members about various financing options and schemes.
