Now candidates for civic bodies elections in Chhattisgarh can fill up their nomination form online in Ono software.
By doing so, Chhattisgarh will be the first state to go for this innovative experiment, State Election Commissioner Thakur Ram Singh said on Wednesday.
Singh said that an online training programme for filing of nominations will be held on November 20.
Deputy Secretary from Nirvachan Bhawan, Dipak Kumar Agrawal would be present in the training programme as an expert, he said.
The civic bodies elections are to be held in December in 15 urban civic bodies in the state which include four municipal corporations: Birgaon, Bhilai, Bhilai-Charoda and Risali.
The elections will also be held in five municipal councils: Sarangarh, Baikunthpur, Shivpur-Charcha, Jamul, Khairagarh.
