The members of the Video Surveillance Committee keeping an eye on the poll expenditure being made by the candidates have been asked to keep count of even the number of chairs put up in a public meeting.
This is apart from the standard directives of the Election Commission of India to prepare a video of all campaign banners and posters put up in the district.
The candidates had also been directed by the Election Commission to provide information on the advertisements being released by them to the electronic media three days in advance to the Video Surveillance Committee.
