The Jagdalpur District Administration has decided to provide free of cost coaching to students belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Other backward classes for preparations of State service exams conducted by Chhattisgarh Public Service commission and has made the selection arrangements for the same at Dharampura located pre exam training centre. Applications for the free coaching facility have been invited from the reserved category students latest by April 10.
Total 50 students will be selected for the free coaching in Bastar district for which counselling of candidates and scrutiny of their documents will be held on April 11 and final merit/ eligible students list will be put up at the notice board same day. According to information provided by collector’s office, out of the total 50 seats for the free coaching scheme, category wise seats will be reserved for female candidates as per the reservation policy of the State Government. Candidates in the age group of 20 to 35 years, bona fide residents of Chhattisgarh, belonging to SC, ST, OBC class and whose parents are not income tax payee are eligible for this 2-month coaching. Relaxation in age for female candidates will be applicable as per government norms1. Neither any lodging nor scholarship will be provided to the candidates during the coaching period. Non reserved category candidates can also avail the coaching facility by submitting the fixed fee and after obtaining permission from the district collector.
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission is scheduled to organise preliminary exam on June 9.
