As per the directive and decision of All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi to rake up the issue of alleged scam in Rafale Aircraft deal nationwide, Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee will launch the state-wide agitation at District Headquarters over the issue from September 8. It would conclude on September 15.
CGPCC leaders will lead the agitations as per the dedicated dates at district headquarters, as the plan regarding it was finalised at the meeting of District Presidents held here at State Congress Office Rajiv Bhawan on Sunday.
As per the chalked out plan in the meeting agitation would be initiated at Surguja district on September 8
while it would end at Raipur district headquarters on September 15.
leader of Opposition TS Singhdeo would launch the protest at Surguja district Headquarters on September 8. Singhdeo would also lead the agitation in other districts of the Surguja division.
Among other major places and scheduled dates, the agitation at Durg would be on Sep 11 under leadership of CGPCC Chief Bhupesh Baghel, AICC OBC Wing Chief Tamradhwaj Sahu, former leader of Opposition Ravindra Chaubey and former Union Minister Arvind Netam. Similarly, it would be held at Rajnandgaon under leadership of Baghel, former Minister Satyanarayan Sharma and Arvind Netam on September 12.
The agitation would end simultaneously at district headquarters of Raipur, Kawardha and Balod.
The protest there would be led in these districts respectively by Baghel, Choubey and Netam.
