Chief Minister Raman Singh on Wednesday launched 'Raipur Half-Marathon 2017' Mobile App and brochure at his official residence. Chhattisgarh will organise 'Raipur Half-Marathon 2017' on February 19 at Naya Raipur.
Chief Minister congratulated the Sports and Youth Welfare Department for the Mobile App. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Aman Kumar Singh, Sports and Youth Welfare Department Secretary Sonmoni Borah, Sports and Youth Welfare Department Director Avinash Champawat and senior officers were also present on the occasion.
Borah said that competitors from the state, other parts of the country and world can get themselves registered Online. One can type 'Raipur Half-Marathon 2017' on Google Play Store and Download the App.
He revealed that International Runner Milkha Singh and several other top runners will be part of the Marathon. It may be mentioned here that State Government is organizing the 'Raipur Half-marathon 2017' on February 19 at 6:30 am at Naya Raipur.The winner will be awarded Rs 3 lakh and the second prize is Rs 2 lakh and third runner up will get Rs 1 lakh cash prize.
