District Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar has stated that anybody carrying large amount of cash in a constituency would need to posses valid documents supporting the source of funds and details on its intended use.
He said that distribution of cash, liquor or any other item during the polling process is a cognizable offence and flying squads had been formed under every police station to keep vigil on such activities, according to an official press release issued here on Sunday.
