The district administration would conduct screening camps from March 9 to 12 in as many as 36 centers in the district for the certification of differently-abled persons for benefiting them with different Government welfare schemes. This was informed by District Collector Umesh Kumar Agarwal in a meeting with the officials convened here recently.
He said that out of 14177 differently-abled persons, as many as 7555 persons are still remaining for the certification and which would be done in the camp. Collector said that the officials would take the help from Mitanins, Anganwadi workers, ANMs and employment assistants for the entire process of registration. As per the schedule, the camp would be conducted on March 14 and 15 in Saraipalli block headquarters, March 18 and 19 in Basna, March 22 and 23 in Pithora, March 25 and 26 in Mahasamund and March 29 and 30 in Bagbahara.
