For the first time in Chhattisgarh, the State Level Lok Adalat (SLLA) is going to be held through video conferencing -- because of the Covid-19 crisis.
The SLLA is scheduled on July 11, said a statement from the High Court Legal Services Committee, Bilaspur.
“Keeping in view the guidelines of the High Court, this time the Lok Adalat will be organized through video conferencing,” said Bhanu Pratap Singh Tyagi, Secretary of the Committee.
The concerned parties and lawyers are expected to submit duly filled docket of Miscellaneous Claim Case (MAC) before the Secretary on or before July 8 so that selected cases can be fixed, Singh added.
A statement issued by the SLSA said that due to corona pandemic, twice the scheduled dates of the National Lok Adalat were postponed.
