Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Friday received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine at the Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College here.
In an appeal to the people, she urged every eligible individual to get vaccinated against the virus.
She said that after vaccination, the body develops stronger immunity against Covid. But even then, it is important to follow Covid appropriate behaviour.
The Governor was in the monitoring room for half hour after vaccination. Dr. Vishnu Dutt, the dean of the Medical College, gave a certificate of Covid vaccination to the Governor.
