The Congress in Chhattisgarh on Sunday came out in support of a nationwide Bharat Bandh called by farmers on Monday.
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) has called for a general strike on the completion of 10 months of their agitation against the farm laws enacted by the Centre last year.
PCC Chairman (Communication) Shailesh Nitin Trivedi said the Congress will back the bandh in Chhattisgarh in solidarity with the farmers.
Farmers across the country have been protesting at different sites since November 2020 against the three farm laws.
