The IT Cell and Social Media wing of the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee was on Monday judged the best across all party units in the country.
Its head Jaywardhan Bissa said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi announced the rankings after having talking to him for more than two hours.
Karnataka was ranked the second best and Maharashtra earned the third spot, Bissa said. "It is a big achievement for us and we will do our best to continue to be on top," he said.
The rankings were declared at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi in the presence of Congress leaders P. Chidambaram and Shashi Tharoor.
