The decision to constitute the team was taken during a meeting chaired by Ajay Singh, Deputy Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Planning Commission, to provide relief to people affected by lockdown and Covid, it added. The State Planning Commission and UNDP have jointly formed a special cell for it.

With UNDP's technical help, six specialists were appointed for the special committee.
