Chief Minister Raman Singh on Thursday welcomed the Railway Budget tabled by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and said that the main focus was providing amenities to passengers and developing infrastructure all over the country.
He appreciated that there was no increase in passenger fares and freight rates. It will provide a lot of relief to the passengers, the CM said. Singh congratulated PM Modi and Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu in presenting such an encouraging budget and said that investment in the Railway sector was doubled which will definitely help in developing the infrastructure and rail network.
