The Quality Circle Team ‘Ananya’ of Sintering Plant-3 of the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has secured the first position and won Gold Medal in a Quality Circle (QC) Presentation Contest.
The contest was held under the aegis of Delhi Chapter of Quality Circle Forum of India at Palampur in Himachal Pradesh. As many as 58 QC teams from all over India participated in the contest and BSP’s ‘Ananya QC team’ secured the first position and also won the gold medal.
The team leader of Ananya Quality Circle was R l Banerjee and Deputy leader was Shailendra Janwar.
Earlier, the Ananya QC Team of Sintering Plant-3 was adjudged 1st in the plant level Quality Circle Project Presentation Contest conducted by BSP’s Business Excellence Department of BSP before the team was sent for participating in the contest organised by Quality Circle Forum of India.
