The Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital & Research Centre (Sector-9 Hospital) of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) observed ‘Safai Pakhwada’ by kick starting the cleanliness campaign under the leadership of Dr Shailendra Jain, Director I/c recently .
Though cleanliness is everyday’s business and Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital & Research Centre takes pride in its excellent housekeeping services, however, it was stressed that giving a focussed approach on periodic basis helps in inculcating the spirit of cleanliness at public places by all, a BSP Press release informed.
The ‘Safai Pakhwada’ is being observed with the above focus in mind and as per the Government’s directive received through SAIl Corporate Office.
On the occasion, the ‘Swachhatta Shapath’ (pledge for cleanliness) was undertaken by all present which included directors — Dr MK Dwivedi, Dr Sanjeev Issar, Rakesh Kumar, DGM (M&S), Dr Anurag Shrivastva, Jt. Director and other senior officials, employees and the outsourced housekeeping staff of the BSP Sector-9 Hospital.
All the directors were highly appreciative of the efforts put in by the housekeeping staff in keeping the hospital litter free and asked them to continue the good work in the best interests of not only the hospital’s image but also in the interest of infection control and prevention activities of the Hospital, it stated.
