The Industrial Engineering Department (IED) of Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) has launched an Innovative Productivity Programme titled ‘PRERANA’ for main production shops of the plant .
The programme designed by BSP helps in bringing out the creativity of the employees. The third ‘PRERNA’ workshop was organised for the workforce of SMS-II at BMDC, Bhilai was inaugurated by General Manager (MS) Madhury Menon. Sanjeev Nayyar, Genera Manager (SMS-2 & CCS) was present as Guest of Honour on the occasion
Nayyar in his address said that one should analyse the present methodology at their workplace and identify the grey areas of various processes which need improvement.
The workshop concluded with a group activity by the participants where they identified the scope of improvement in their methodology of various processes and expressed the intention to implement them. The findings of groups were presented before Sanjeev Nayyar during the Valedictory Session.
