Arvind Kejriwal, national convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Delhi Chief Minister, exhorted people of Chhattisgarh on Sunday to cast votes for the ‘Broom’ to bring an honest Government in Chhattisgarh.
He was addressing a public gathering ‘Sankalpa Sabha’ of AAP held here at Science College Ground of the capital on Sunday evening.
Kejriwal alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress were the two faces of a single coin and said “Congress was sitting in the BJP’s lap”.
``When the common people here in the state would give their mandate in favour of AAP, only then a will be brought in the state,’’ he said though the AAP is a non-existence force in the state.
In a bid to woo farmers and youth in the state, he promised to provide Rs 2600 per quintal Minimum Support Price (MSP) on procurement of paddy crop if his party is voted to power in the state. He also assured youth of the state for providing them employment.
