Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal did bhumi-pujan of development works worth nearly Rs 1.65 crore in two wards of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) namely Bramhan Para Ward and Kankali Para Ward, under lok Suraj Abhiyan.
He directed Municipal officials to dig tube-wells at five places in Baijnathpara for drinking water facility. Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Pramod Dubey presided over the programme.
Agrawal also attended lok Suraj camp held in Madhavrao Sapre School campus yesterday evening.
In this camp, various departments of Raipur Municipal Corporation had put up stalls to collect applications from citizens and redress them on the spot as far as possible.
