Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel released the booklets “Purkhati Kagzat” and “Tana Bana" on Friday in Kanker district.
Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singh Deo was present.
“Purkhati Kagzat” (Part I) contains information about the community forest rights forms issued to the area-wise tribal communities in Bastar.
Part II is a compilation of revenue records that have been preserved under the names and areas of Matagudi and Devgudi.
“Tana Bana” is about cultural customs, various types of birth-death rituals and festivals prevalent in the lives of major tribal communities living in the division like Gonds, Halbas, Koyas and more.
