Body of a 45-year-old security guard was found in lalapur area on Sunday morning. The deceased was a resident of Dhamtari and the reason of death are yet to be known, police said on Sunday.
According to Tikarapara police the deceased was identified as Prakash Gupta son of Rameshwar Gupta resident of Banglai village, Dhamtari. “The deceased was identified through a yellow colour ration card found near the body,” said officer investigating the case and added that the deceased used to work as security guard.
Police revealed that a medical prescription was also found with the body which indicate that the deceased was suffering from some kind of ailment. later on police conveyed the news of death to the family members of deceased who have reached Raipur. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the exact reason of death would be known only after the post-mortem report is obtained, police said. A case in this connection has been registered with Tikarapara police station.
