The Bank of Baroda (BoB) on Thursday organised ‘Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana’ camps at all their 70 branches in Chhattisgarh for promoting the Centre’s ambitious plan of opening bank accounts of each and every household in the State, a press release issued by the Bank here stated.
The Bank of Baroda opened more than 20,000 saving accounts and distributed pass book to beneficiaries at the camps on launching day of the scheme, it stated.
On this occasion , Birendra Kumar , Deputy General Manager and Regional Head of Bank of Baroda, Raipur Region, informed that all branch staff of the Bank is participating wholeheartedly in this camp to make the mission a grand success.
