The officials of the development blocks will now have to participate in the video conferencing which will start at block level in the district from December 1.
Collector, Himshikhar Gupta has asked all the block-level officials to ensure their presence in the video conference room of Janpad Panchayat office during the meeting of their respective departments, a press release issued on Tuesday stated.
As per schedule, the video conferencing of Chhattisgarh Power Distribution Company, Akshay Urja will be held on Monday followed by Agriculture Department on Wednesday, Tribal Welfare Department and Education Department on Thursday and Panchayat and Rural Development Department on Friday of the first week of the month.
Similarly, the Health Department will hold video conferencing on Monday, Forest Department on Wednesday and Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, National Mission for Secondary Education on Thursday of the second week of the month.
In the third week, video conferencing of Woman and Child Development Department will be held on Monday followed by the Horticulture Department and Sericulture Department on Wednesday, Revenue Department on Thursday and Animal Husbandry Department on Friday.
The department-wise videoconferencing will be held between 12 noon and 2 pm on the specified dates.
