Police have arrested a member of royal family and BJP Rajya Sabha MP Ranjvijay Singh Judeo’s brother Vikramaditya Singh Judeo in Chhattisgarh’s tribal dominated Jashpur district on charges of murder attempt, police said.
Following a tip-off about whereabouts of Vikramaditya Singh Judeo, police swung into action and arrested him from a forest patch in the district, averred police sources.
It may be recalled that over a land related dispute Vikramaditya Singh Judeo had allegedly hit Director of a private school Barmeshwar Gupta with his SUV.
Based on a complaint received from
the School Director, police had booked Vikramaditya Singh Judeo and two other under section 307 (attempt to murder) and other sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) and since then Judeo was absconding.
